I am interested in the open ____ Grade Classroom Teacher position at your school. From the job
posting, I see you are looking for someone who will create a student centered learning
environment that increases students’ learning and personal growth. These are things that I feel
very passionate about as well as working closely with other teachers to benefit the needs of the
students.

Throughout my education, I had the opportunity to observe many classrooms of different grade
levels. From these experiences I have learned that my teaching style is student centered where
the students have an active part in their learning. Having a consistent and structured schedule as
well as being able to be flexible is something I have found to be not only beneficial to me but
students too. During my schooling, I have learned the importance of incorporating multicultural
elements into the classroom. This is something I feel very strongly about and I know will help all
students feel welcomed in my classroom. Creating a safe and welcoming environment for each
student is significant to the learning of the students.

My experience in coaching has taught me important management skills that can be converted
into the classroom. During my student teaching, I learned a lot about PBIS and the benefits of
rewarding positive behaviors within the classroom. I feel confident in my classroom
management techniques and have seen how important the relationship between teacher and
student impacts learning.

I am finishing my student teaching December 2022 and my certifications are in progress. I know
that my drive and excitement for teaching children gives me that confidence to know that I
