◆ Compact of Facilities
Switchboards used to relay multiple existing analog to digital one relay to
implement the Compact and to install and configure the electronic switchboards
operation convenience.

Fault Event
It stores and manages various fault information (occurring time, kind of
fault, operation relay element and etc.) upon line accident in the order of
occurring time up to 1024 pieces.
◆ Logic Function
PROMET5300 can be output LOGIC(= AND, OR, Latch etc.) with DO or

5.1.2. Recording Function
1) Operating Record
PROMET5300 stores information related to the IED operation up to maximum 4094
pieces in the Nonvolatile memory(FRAM). Since it stores data by the occurrence
time(SOE: Sequence Of Event) in the resolution of 1mSec, it is possible to trace
event. Item and content to be stored in the operation record is as follows.

5.2. Operation and Setting function
5.2.1. Operation status LED
The operation status of the relays, as shown below, an LED display visible
actions LED, Power LED, Pickup LED, Alarm and Trip LED 6 EA. Each
configuration is as follows.
◆ Power LED
This LED display power status of PROMET5300. When PROMET5300’s power
status is normal, Power LED will turn on green.
◆ RUN LED
This LED display operation status of PROMET5300. When PROMET5300
self-diagnosis status is normal, RUN LED will turn on green.
◆ SYS_FAIL LED
Off during normal behavior and, if diagnostic devices, at least judging by Fail
when the yellow light, and LED, LED diagnostic information to determine what items
can be diagnosed through the menu.
◆ FAULT LED
Setting-value over the current behavior of the fault is maintained. Trip time
when action is set in the output contacts, and the Fault LED will turn on red.
Fault to return the user to turn off the LED Fault Reset key is pressed.
◆ Alarm LED
Over the alarm setting Current is approved the alarm is maintained. When
become set operating time, the alarm contact output. Fault LED will turn on
red. After returning the alarm. If user push the Fault Reset key, LED will turn
off.
◆ PICK-UP LED
The behavior over setting-value relays the signal is when the yellow Pickup LED
blinks. Current-Value and Voltage-Value are setting-value LED turn off down below.

5.2.2. CB status LED
LED(CB OPEN LED, CB ON LED, Local LED etc,. 5EA) for the status of CB as
follows. Each configuration is as follows.
◆ LOCAL LED
This have button which CB in Control on LED-communication at local or
remote. If LOCAL have control, LED turn on. If remote have control,LED turn off.
◆ CB1_ON LED
CB1_ON LED of PROMET5300 is button which CB1 is close or open. The red
LED will light when close .
◆ CB1_OPEN LED
CB1_Open LED of PROMET5300 is button which CB1 is close or open. The
green LED will light when open.
◆ CB2_ON LED
CB2_ON LED of PROMET5300 is button which CB2 is close or open. The red
LED will light when close .
◆ CB2_OPEN LED
CB2_Open LED of PROMET5300 is button which CB2 is close or open. The
green LED will light when open.

menu selection and moving, and fifth right button use when next-menu move.

Right-side of LED screen will show four cells. This cells shows control-menu
SELECT, CANCEL, SAVE. etc.

or NO select. If you want when another mode change, LOCAL-key push. and
next-flow is same.

① [General]
At first, you can select [General] at sub-menu of [Measures]. This menu
represent Line Voltage, Phase voltage, Frequence, Factor, Active/Reactive
Power, Active/Reactive Energy. If you want previous display, Right first buttons [UP].
② Vector DIG
You can select [Vector DIG] at sub-menu of [Measures]. This menu represent
Voltage, current, magnitude, phase of each phase, and Vector Diagram.
In especially Vector Diagram can be checked wiring of voltage, current. If you
want previous display, Right first buttons [UP].

You can select [Quality] at sub-menu of [Measures]. This menu represent
THD, TDD, Motor Thermal and find out quality of system. If you want previous
display, Right first buttons [UP].
④ V / I
You can select [ V / I ] at sub-menu of [Measures]. This menu represent
value, phase, positive/negative/zero-phase-sequence of voltage, current. If you
want previous display, Right first buttons [UP].

if you want to hide alarm screen, push anything among Buttons and Keys

4times to right forth button [SEL] as below follows. If you want last inputted
number, use <- to right second or third button. If you want previous display,
Right first button [EXIT] push.

you push to right forth button [SEL], will change setting-value to [INC],[DEC].

problem state of current equipment(Fault Occur, Setting Fail).

display hardware and software versions.

Select fifth item on the Main Menu screen [Device Setting]. This menu
check or change various setting-values for operation of PROMET5300.
You select [Device Setting] at Menu. This menu represent setting of device.

connection, CT ratio, and PT ratio, etc. Set method is same as OCR.

Select [Active relay factor] menu on the detail menu screen. This menu can
be set use or not activation. Set method is same as OCR.
③ Clock Set
Select [Clock Set] menu on the detail menu screen. This menu can set the
system time. Set method is same as OCR.

Select [Network Set] menu on the detail menu screen. This menu can set IP,
Subnet Mask and SNTP IP of IED. Set method is same as OCR.
⑤ Goose Set
Select [Goose Set] menu on the detail menu screen. This menu can be set
use or not Goose Message. Set method is same as OCR.

⑥ RS485 Set
Select [RS485 Set] menu on the detail menu screen. This menu can set Rs485
communication protocol. Set method is same as OCR.
⑦ MISC
Select [MISC] menu on the detail menu screen. This menu can be set use or
not AI, Goose-acctvation, number of DI Board. Set method is same as OCR.

⑧ Delete record
Select [Delete record] menu on the detail menu screen. This menu can clear
saved Record. [Delete All] is delete all in front of record. Set method is same
as OCR.
⑨ Assign
Select [Assign] menu on the detail menu screen. This menu can be allocate

6. Installation and Operation
② CT/PT ratio check from System Config. Menu, and if necessary CT/PT
adjusted according to ratio.
⑦ SYS-FAIL LED turn off, periodically flashing RUN LED in the front
panel, this is NORMAL-DRIVING in the state.
