BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN PSYCHOLOGY

At the end of the term, the would-be Psychologists are expected to:
1. engage in lifelong learning to keep abreast of the developments and trends in the practice of
Psychology;
2. integrate scientific reasoning to interpret psychological phenomena;
3. examine arguments about established principles in psychology by evaluating and interpreting
evidence-based studies from a variety of perspectives;
4. evaluate biological, psychological, and social foundations of typical and atypical behavior and
mental processes;
5. demonstrate critical thinking to evaluate theories, principles, concepts, and skills in psychology;
6. demonstrate effective communication skills, orally and in writing in English and Filipino, to
convey research findings, psychological concerns and issues;
7. use appropriate research methods in the design, data analysis and interpretation of
psychological research that will contribute to knowledge-building;
8. appraise the established principles in psychology through an understanding of socio-cultural
diversity and societal inequality in the inquiry and analysis of psychological issues;
9. apply psychological theories, principles, concepts and skills in the context of psychological
assessment, psychological programs, and psychological interventions as a way of addressing the
clients’ issues, both personal and social;
10. exhibit social understanding and interpersonal competence essential for the appropriate and
ethical delivery of psychological service;

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN ENGLISH

At the end of the term, students are expected to:


1. Edit documents effectively based on registers.
2. Translate texts in different contexts.

professional purposes.

At the end of the term, students are expected to:


1. Use appropriate philosophical theories and approaches critically and aesthetically.
2. Utilize various and appropriate teaching methodologies in philosophical and pedagogical
undertakings.
3. Apply reflective and analytical techniques of the different philosophical disciplines through various
media of communications.
4. Employ philosophical and community organizing and development precepts and approaches towards
the promotion of peace, cultural diversity, and interfaith dialogues informed by the Catholic Social
Teachings.
5. Manifest logical reasoning and ethical judgment in all forms of argumentation in their personal and
professional practice.
6. Demonstrate readiness for continuing education and lifelong learning.
7. Conduct research on socially relevant philosophical topics informed by other disciplines.
8. Promote the study and appreciation of Filipino historical and cultural heritage.

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN POLITICAL SCIENCE


At the end of the term, students are expected to:
1. Express sound opinions and arguments on political issues using English or Filipino

professional development;
5. Utilize information, media and technology skills in facilitating learning;
6. Demonstrate a deep understanding of how educational processes relate to historical, social, cultural,

7. Evaluate one’s teaching knowledge, skills and practices for learner accountability and improvement;
8. Contextualize the curriculum to address real-life situations of learners;

BACHELOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION

BS MATHEMATICS

After finishing the BS Mathematics program, the graduates will have the ability to:
1. Utilize basic concepts and ideas from mathematics, physical and natural sciences and
humanities including connections between theory and applications in initially addressing
pertinent issues;
2. Demonstrate mastery of the core areas of mathematics: algebra, analysis and geometry through the
formulation of useful models that describe real-world phenomena;
3. Manifest an enhanced perception of the vitality and importance of mathematics in the modern
world and its interrelationships to other disciplines through proper oral and written communications;
4. Demonstrate skills in reading and writing mathematical proofs, pattern recognition, generalization,
abstraction, critical analysis, synthesis and problem-solving as well as in formulating and evaluating
mathematical conjectures and arguments and validating their own mathematical thinking;
5. Communicate effectively mathematical ideas, problems and solutions to other
mathematicians, scientists, decision makers and the public, both orally and in writing using clear
and precise language utilizing a wide range of venues and media;
6. Contribute in the generation of new knowledge through scholarly researches by working
individually or in multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams;
7. Adapt to the different changes happening in the global mathematics community such as the
utilization of the most recent technological innovations and tools like computer algebra systems,
visualization software, statistical packages, and computer programming languages;
8. Practice Christian values in their personal and professional endeavors as Louisians by acting in
accordance to professional, social, and ethical responsibility, especially in practicing intellectual
property rights and sustainable development and in the service of their community.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN SOCIAL WORK

At the end of the BS Social Work Program, the graduates are expected to:
1. evaluate the impacts of global and national socio-cultural inadequacies, discrimination, and
oppression on quality of life;
2. appraise social welfare policies, programs, and services of the locality, country, and/or region in
terms of relevance, responsiveness, accessibility and availability to target populations;
3. demonstrate critical self-reflective practice for personal and professional growth;
4. demonstrate knowledge of the latest developments in Social Work, skills, and attitudes in
engaging in generalist helping process for therapeutic, protective, preventive and transformative

BS RADIO TECHNOLOGY

At the end of the BS Radio Technology Program, the graduates are expected to:
1. Relate knowledge of physical, social, natural, chemical, humanities and health sciences in the
practice of Radiologic Technology.
2. Compare the varied radiologic imaging and therapeutic modalities based on their purpose,
mechanism of image production, advantages and limitations.
3. Demonstrate technical skills based on scientific knowledge to assure compassionate patient care
and comfort, aid accurate diagnosis and proper treatment.
4. Utilize inclusive communication skills to promote professionalism, social justice and equity among

each field of specialization in radiologic technology.

9. Adapt to the different patient-care situations encountered during clinical education training to be
able to employ the most appropriate technical skill, best patient care and proper work attitude.

managerial / and entrepreneurial situations encountered in the department.

BS PHARMACY

At the end of the BS Pharmacy Program, the graduates are expected to:
1. Practice the Pharmacy profession in accordance with true Christian values and existing legal,
ethical and moral principles.
2. Integrate the theories, principles and concepts of chemistry, physics and math in the practice of
pharmacy as science, art and profession.
3. Accurately compute pharmaceutical problems involving prescribed dose, drug formulations,
quality control test specifications, shelf life and expiration date.
4. Design and develop new innovative, pharmaceutical products for the prevention, diagnosis,
mitigation and treatment of diseases of man and animals.
5. Efficiently and effectively communicate appropriate drug and health information to clients.
6. Work independently and collaboratively with other health professionals in the delivery of
holistic health care to clients.
7. Conduct scientific research methods and processes to produce timely and relevant studies that
address current health-related issues.
8. Develop activities geared towards self-improvement through continuous pharmaceutical
education and lifelong learning.

BS BIOLOGY

At the end of the BS Biology Program, the graduates are expected to:
1. Demonstrate mastery of basic biological concepts and skills needed in Medical and graduate studies,
in teaching, and or other careers in allied fields;
2. Conserve and protect our finite resources attuned to the pursuit of sustainable development;
3. Conduct field and laboratory activities consistent with the highest standards and practices of research
in specific fields of Biology;
4. Communicate biological knowledge effectively in both English and Filipino orally and in writing;
and
5. Manifest Christian values and act in accordance to professional, social and ethical responsibility.

BS MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE

At the end of the BS Medical Laboratory Science Program, the graduates are expected to:
1. Integrate knowledge of physical, social, natural, chemical, humanities, and health sciences in
the practice of Medical Laboratory Science.
2. Communicate effectively orally and in writing using English and Filipino with cultural
sensitivity when interacting with peers, patients, and other health care professionals.
3. Demonstrate technical competence (safe, appropriate, and accurate testing) in the performance
of laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases.
4. Participate in medical laboratory science related researches and projects that would help the
community.
5. Practice sound judgment and decision making in dealing with implausible laboratory results and
take appropriate actions.
6. Manifest dedication and commitment as well as management skills in the laboratory operation
to deliver quality laboratory services.
7. Engage in lifelong learning for professional advancement to be globally and technologically
competent.
8. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

9. Contribute to the protection and preservation of their environment through the practice of
proper biosafety and waste management.

SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE
BS Architecture Program

At the end of the BS Architecture Program, the graduates are expected to:
1. Pursue continuing professional development in the field of architecture;
2. Communicate effectively in oral and written mediums both in English and Filipino;
3. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
4. Recognize professional, social and ethical responsibility;
5. Create architectural solutions and ecologically responsible designs using knowledge in
history, theory, planning, building technology and utilities, structural concepts, professional
practice and principles of sustainability;
6. Use concepts and principles from specialized fields and allied disciplines into various
architectural problems;
7. Prepare contract documents, technical reports and other legal documents used in architectural
practice adhering to applicable laws, standards and regulations;

BS Civil Engineering Program

At the end of the BS Civil Engineering Program, the graduates are expected to:
1. Apply knowledge of mathematics, natural science, engineering fundamentals and an
engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems;
2. Conduct investigations of complex engineering problems using research-based knowledge and
research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and
synthesis of information to provide valid conclusions;
3. Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design systems, components or
processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety,
cultural, societal, and environmental considerations;
4. Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams and in multi-
disciplinary settings;
5. Identify, formulate, research literature and analyze complex engineering problems reaching
substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering
sciences;
6. Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of
engineering practice;
7. Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community
and with society at large, such as being able to comprehend and write effective reports and

BS Chemical Engineering Program

At the end of the BS Chemical Engineering Program, the graduates are expected to:
