 Giving this opportunity to conduct demo teaching has a big help for me as a future
educator, it was a wonderful experience but at the same as a student teacher it was not easy.
When ma’am Salinel announced that we will be having a demo teaching by partner, I was so
happy because I thought it would be easy for me to conduct demo teaching with partner but
it wasn’t. I didn't have a hard time choosing a partner because I had a friend in our class, but
process of working with partner and trying to break the workload up evenly was a challenge.
It got to the point that we got confused about what we were supposed to do. It was hard
trying to create times to meet because we had a lot of school works at that time. Since we
were in fifth spot in the demo teaching category at first, we assumed that our time is not
enough to perform a five demo teacher on the first day then suddenly Ma'am Salinel posted
the demo teaching schedule on November 3 Friday and it turned out that we were included in
the demo teaching on Monday November 7, 2022. Our preparation is only two days,
Saturday November 5, 2022 we made our lesson plan but we thought it was very easy since
we already have experience in making lesson plans but it is difficult because we thought that
we would do a detailed lesson plan, but we are only asked to make a lesson plan that uses
5E's. Sunday, November 6, 2022 we made Instructional Materials that ended at 7pm. It was
exhausting, frustrating, and stressful because it felt like we were going into a battle without
weapon but my partner and I still fought despite the fact that we are not prepared.

We were nervous during the demo because we hadn't even prepared well, yet we managed,
even though there was a problem with our lesson plan and confusion when our evaluation
was being checked. Overall, the demonstration went well and I feel confident that many
students learned something new about our topic and they were interested in the lesson. Also,
we have got good feedback from them after the lesson which made us complacent even
though my partner and I didn’t satisfied to our performance. But during demo teaching I
realized that being a teacher should be motivating, energetic, always take care of her
students with respect accept their comments, welcome their questions, and show gratitude
for their participation. Then, nothing will stop you from being a great teacher. This how I
want to be as a teacher and I believed that we did present all our best to succeed our
demonstration teaching even we are not totally prepared. But I also believed that these
would not be a success if it were only me. I’ve done this project because of my cooperating
partner. As well as going well because of the cooperation of our students and the support of
our professor, Madam Salinel, most of all because of the guidance of Almighty God. This
experience was beneficial to my learning experiences and added to my passion to becoming
an educator. Teaching students is challenging but worth it. Being able to create lesson plans,
work by partner, and provide proper feedback to my students, solidified the reasons why I
chose this profession. Knowing that I am one of the reason of my students learning and
success make my heart flutter. Also, I realized that the ultimate fulfillment for a teacher is
seeing your students learn something from you that leads them to be successful human
beings. I look forward to the rest of my journey as a students and as a future educator. I
believe a great teacher will not formed only a good mind to their students but also a good
heart.
