Cargo Handling
(Stevedoring and Arrastre)
We take care of your stevedoring and arrastre
needs including:
receiving, loading, and unloading cargoes
checking cargoes by marks and quantity,
acknowledging and signing tally sheets
sorting and piling cargoes in sheds or open
storage, if not taken on direct to truck
deliver/transfer cargo to and receive from tail
end of consignee's transportation or ship's
tackle
securing cargo from pilferage or losses
providing mechanical equipment for
receiving/stowing/delivery/transfer/shifting of
cargo
providing checking services only when cargo is
loaded or unloaded to and from shipside, to and
from barges alongside vessels
stowing inside hatches, compartments, and on
deck or open cargo spaces on board vessel
other services including rigging ship's gear,
opening and closing hatches, and securing cargo
stored on board by lashing, shoring, and
trimming

PORT OF
SUBIC
The port of Subic, which is 110 km west of Metro Manila, has a harbor of up to 13.7
meters covering a total area of 41 hectares. It is operated and managed by the Subic Bay
Metropolitan Authority (SBMA). The freeport area covers portions of Olongapo and
Subic, Zambales, as well as Morong and Hermosa, Bataan.
The Port of Subic is one of the Philippines and South East Asia's major seaports. The
Port continues to be one of the country's major economic engines with more than 700
investment projects. It is connected with the Clark Special Economic Zone, the former
Clark Air Force Base in Angeles City via the 45-kilometer Subic -Clark Toll Road. Subic Bay
Freeport is a multimodal logistics hub that can accommodate all types of commodities.
The port has a total of 12 piers and wharves. Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority provides
port transshipment, freight forwarding, cargo handling, warehousing and storage
services. Its warehouse and storage leases processing plants, meat importers,
fruits/vegetables importers for local and exports, ice makers/manufacturers. Port users
are from Northern Luzon, Central Luzon and Manila. Other services are ship lay-ups,
petroleum, oil and lubricants storage, import/export and/or transshipment, bulk grain
storage. It is also a passenger and/or cruise ship destination.
