Evaluation has broad as well as various meanings, the general meaning of evaluation is, this is a
method or procedure of knowing whether the learning processes have been done effectively
and properly by the teacher.
2. In education , evaluation is the process of using measurements gathered in the assessment. The
teacher use the information to judge the relationship between what was intended by the
instructions and what was learned.
3. So Basicly Evaluation is an activities or process that can give us 2 results or information :
a. For students -> how to do evaluate the students? so the way is they (as a teacher) documenting
of data to measure student’s performance and knowledge, they evaluate the information
gathered to determine what students know & understand, how far & how fast that they have
progressed, and the final is their scores (whos score?) yeah student’s scores and the progress
compare to those of other students.
b. For teacher after the evalution processes we can knowing the methods and procedures that we
choose and we implements while teaching are successful or not. How do we know? Yaa from
the outcomes of evalution it called result, like can the students understand well or not and how
the student’s score.
4. Next is , what are the ways we can use in this evaluation process? The evalution of teaching n
learning process quality can be obtained from the result of observation, interview, test and
assessment in the classroom.
