As seen in the video and in my readings, I very much support the contributions of the
CICM in education. The CICM gives students a sense of mission in both spiritual and academic
aspects. Being taught to be united in one heart and in soul, our school becomes a real home and a
place of peace, hope, and love where we work together for academic excellence and missionary
spirit. With this kind of environment, we students are molded to become respectful citizens of
our community or in other parts of the world, doing work for the glory of God.

“As co-missionary of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the
Philippines, I should be able to identify my place in the ministry of God’s work. Having the
CICM pioneers, figures of the Bible and especially Jesus Christ as models, I will be able to find
my role in the missionary character of the CICM. As a Louisian, I expect myself to manifest my
school’s core values of academic excellence, creativity, social involvement, and Christian spirit.
I am to demonstrate ways of encountering Jesus Christ in my daily life with the inspiration of
Mary and the CICM.
