Sithamahalakshmi, he was fortunate to be taught science, mathematics and English by his father and ethical values by his mother. His father was by profession a lawyer, and by volition a teacher (to his children). Sri Krishnaiah was a freedom fighter. But his family, friends and relatives knew him as a cultured and well- educated person with interests ranging from literature to physical sciences and from social sciences to biological sciences. Young Koteswara Rao must have imbibed these virtues from his father and went on to become a favorite student of his professors and a respected Guru of his students.
