Due to my career interests, I have contacted you to give my curriculum since I


consider I fit with the position of English and TOK Teacher.
I have a bachelor in English Language Teaching at Universidad Nacional
Experimental Simón Rodríguez (UNESR) Caracas, Venezuela. And I am a Certified in both
Spanish (Native Speaker) and English Teacher. I am a Certified Spanish Language Teacher
(Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a second or Foreign Language, 180 hours) and Certified
English Teacher with (Master Level TEFL/TESOL 480 hours). In present days I am taking a
Specialization in Language Teaching (Spanish), at Cecilio Acosta University (Thesis in
progress), a master’s degree in educational management at UNA, Caracas (Thesis in
progress) and I possess a diploma certification in World Literature
As you can see in my attached Curriculum, I have an experience of more than ten
(10) years teaching EFL/ ESL/SFL. I have worked in preschool, elementary, high school,
and at the university. On the other hand, I have experience working in bilingual classrooms
in 3rd grade and 1st grade which curriculum is the same as the State of California's one.
Also, I have 2.7 years teaching Spanish in IBDP (MYP 4 and 5 and DP 1 and DP 2, Spanish
Ab Initio and Spanish B where I have had the opportunity of working with students from
different social, economic, religious, and culture backgrounds. In that sense, I have taught
students from India, South Korea, Thailand, America and Africa.
As I showed before, I am interested to work with you because of my focus on human
touch, also that I work oriented in academic excellence and to innovate in the classroom
always aimed on improving to give a transcendental education and training him/her as an
advocate person who contributes to the country, respecting the personality, rights, and
obligations, based on respect, honesty, and self-esteem that permits social interaction inside
the group then in the society.
I really work based on motivation to ensure that my students improve their abilities
using digital media to enrich the learning process. I also love to inspire my students by giving
them real examples of commitment and defeating so they can gain confidence and can
progress in their goals.
I consider I am the appropriate candidate for this vacancy in the sense I have
knowledge of DP Language Acquisition IB Common Core, the ACTFL World-Readiness
Standards for Learning Languages, the Common European Framework of Reference and
the Instituto Cervantes Common Core in Spanish Language teaching-learning. In the same
sense of ideas, I have worked online during more than one year using platforms such as
zoom, meet, google docs, google ppt, exam.net, kahoot, profedeele.es, videoele.com,
managebac, and some other platforms which help the students to improve their learning
skills.

Another skills that I would like to highlight is my talent to work in different activities
beyond the classroom in which I can work with another departments to suggest, to plan, to
give great ideas about new trends and extra-curricular activities to be provided to the
students to help them to improve, to promote the language through challenges such as
Spelling bee, Spanish World Fairs, Exhibit Fairs, Book Fair (written by the students), poetry,
short stories contests or any other activity which help the students and which encourage
them to break paradigms and barriers in front of the Spanish language. I consider that letting
them develop creative writing helps them to rise in the language level and motivate them.
