COMMENT/ENQUIRY

 
1. General Comment:
1.     This shop drawing shall follow as per latest IFC.
2.     Hatching in Legend and plan should match.
3.     To avoid hatching in void area.
4.     To standardize title, font colour, font size, legend, plan, room names, dimension
colour, dimension size, line weight, line etc.
5.     To add sectional detail, blow up detail and termination detail of ceiling in critical
area as below.
6.     To indicate electrical fittings and ceiling hatches where applicable in the ‘blow-up’
reflected ceiling plan.
7.     Drawings should clearly shown type of ceiling for ease of review.
8.     Setting out of ceiling panel to take into consideration method of mounting for light
fittings, speaker, cctv and signages. All fittings installed to be fully covered with
capping etc.
9.     To include detail of termination at edge of wall, escalator area, edge of F.O.H. (Front
of House) towards outside of station.
10.  Ceiling height to take into consideration of cable containment above ceiling and
mounting of exhaust fan.
11.  Termination detail between retail ceiling and slab/beam.(Refer attachment)
12.  Termination detail between mineral fibre board ceiling and slab/beam. (Refer
attachment)

1.     To include location and legend for all electrical fittings to be mounted from the
ceiling and ceiling hatch.
2.     To show clearly on plan view for type of ceiling and legend with proper line weight.
Currently the drawing is illegible. Legend and plan view hatching should be same.
3.     To omit unrelated colour which is not required for this type of drawing.
4.     Access to have alumn. Perforated ceiling C05a and continue along link bridge
towards concourse front of house.
5.     CTER, MDF, Suction tank and Hose reel pump, riser room to be C07a ceiling type.
6.     To provide separate layout for station ground ceiling reflected ceiling and ancillary
building.

1.     To show clearly on plan view for type of ceiling and legend with proper line weight.
Currently the drawing is illegible. Legend and plan view hatching should be same. To
omit unrelated colours. To use black colour with proper hatching as per IFC drawing.
2.     To show proper station outline with room names (including wall, railing, escalator,
staircase etc.)
3.     Ceiling hatching in column should be avoided.
4.     To include height of ceiling in this shop drawing.
5.    To provide side and return panel ceiling at staircase and station edge.

1.     To show location of section in small plan view.
2.     Direct support of ceiling from track work is not to be advised. To introduce
additional support as RHS or I beam etc.
3.     To show sectional detail of fire-resistant fiberglass ceiling.
4.     To use proper colour, line weight for drawing. Better use black colour
5.     To indicate ceiling level ‘CH’ on the section.
6.     To include detail with ceiling mounted signages.
7.     To include detail on termination of ceiling at railing F.O.H. area.
8.     To include detail on ceiling termination at link bridge to concourse F.O.H. area.
9.   To provide mounting detail which considered vibration from the train

2.     To use proper colour, line weight for drawing. Better use black colour
3.     To amend ceiling height ‘CH’ according to the height shown in the section.
             4.   Ceiling height for Surau to be confirm by NRY/MRCBGK.

2.     Mineral fibre ceiling only used for SCR, First aid, Janitor, staff room, Engineers
room and SMO room at concourse level. Please rectify the detail for which room.
