The goal of multi-agency partnership working is to avoid issues from forming that could have an
adverse effect on children's learning and achievement. Practitioners from many agencies
collaborate with one another, sharing goals, information, duties, and responsibilities. Multi-
agency refers, according to Merriam Webster (2014), to a problem-solving strategy involving
representation from numerous agencies, frequently including, but not limited to, parents,
educators, social workers, and health professionals. used when kids or families could require
more help or when kids might be regarded to be at danger of harm The Oxford Dictionary
defines policing as the actions taken by the police to uphold law and order.
First off, Zimbabwe's policing issues have been helped by multi-agency policing. In order to
keep the calm and disperse protests, Zimbabwe republic police collaborated with the
Zimbabwean national army. The army was stationed in the capital on Wednesday because police
were unable to control protesters who were alleging that Monday's historic election was being
rigged, according to the Newsday daily (03 august 2018). According to Kudzai Chatiza (2019),
the police and the army collaborated to restore peace and order, demonstrating the critical role
that multi-agency policing plays in restoring order and saving lives. In the case of Cyclone Idai,
the army provided helicopters to the police, allowing them to save lives by rescuing trapped
citizens.
Second, multi-agency policing has made it easier to solve issues with policing like saving lives.
Together, the organization and the health organization tackle policing issues. The primary goals
or concerns that the police and health sector are focusing on resolving include enabling the
police service, public health teams, and other partners to collaborate more effectively to support
families enrolled in the troubled families program, victims of domestic abuse, children covered
by Child Protection Plans, and the management of sexual and violent offenders as well as those
with complex dependencies like drug, alcohol, or mental health, to identify and explain in order
to improve local services, ensure staff have the skills and knowledge necessary to prevent crime,
identify risk factors earlier, protect the public, improve health and wellbeing, and secure public
trust, national bodies should identify and investigate opportunities where they can promote
guidance, the sharing of information, support education and training needs, and share learning.
Another organization that aids in tackling police issues in societies is the Zimbabwe prisons and
correctional services. This is so that they can successfully reintegrate into society and provide
incarceration and rehabilitation for offenders, as stated in the organization's slogan. We strongly
urge all Zimbabweans, both inside and outside of our national boundaries, to always keep in
mind that crime does not pay in order to contribute to a society free from crime through a
Reduced Global Crime Rate. Therefore, we implore all Zimbabweans to stop committing crimes.
By teaching the inmates various courses like bricklaying, the organization helps people leave
their criminal ways and teaches them to live a new way of life that is free from committing
crimes in a society.
Women's Coalition of Zimbabwe and Trocaire are working together to execute a community-
based campaign to stop all types of violence against women and girls by giving communities
more access to police services. Through lobbying and advocacy for a responsive police service
delivery on violence against women and girls, the project aims to foster an atmosphere that
promotes greater gender equality. The objective is to map the framework, structures, and services
that the police service duty bearer has access to in order to address violence against women and
girls. It also aims to raise awareness of the role, mandate, and structures for police services that
are essential in order to address violence against women and girls.
In addition, create spaces where women, girls, and other key players can interact with police
officers, exchange information, and work together to stop and address violence against women
and girls. The initiative will offer a variety of solutions to gender-based violence, including
increasing police response capabilities to violence against women and girls and putting pledges,
laws, and policies into practice to prevent and protect women and girls from abuse. These
measures include the enforcement of current GBV-related legislation and improved police ability
to prevent, investigate, prosecute, and punish associated offenses, to provide access to justice and
legal assistance, and to help and protect victims and witnesses.
However, there are additional aspects that aid in handling policing issues without involving
several agencies. Teamwork and the Zimbabwe Republic Police's development of ideas and
activities to aid in crime prevention are two elements that can help handle policing issues. The
neighborhood watch program, the crime consultative committee (CCC), the home officers
program, and the junior call are just a few of the methods they have started. These police tactics
and efforts aid in the fight against local crimes including robbery, theft, and murder, to name just
a few. Commissioner Mpofu claims However, he claimed that ZRP has been successful in
maintaining peace and security because to programs like the Home Officers Scheme. These
police tactics and efforts aid in the fight against local crimes including robbery, theft, and
murder, to name just a few. Commissioner Mpofu claims However, he asserted that ZRP has
been successful in maintaining peace and security through to programs like the Junior Call
Programs, the Crime Consultative Committees (CCC), and the Home Officers Scheme. Thus,
this demonstrates that multi-agency policing is dealing with policing issues.
In conclusion, the aforementioned essay has demonstrated how multi-agency has been successful
in addressing policing issues in societies like Zimra and the health organization, to name a few.
However, other elements including police initiatives and methods, as well as teamwork, aid in
tackling policing issues to a lesser level.
