Knits Inese Sang has been knitting on
and off since her childhood, but has truly
rediscovered knitting and its creative
potential after becoming a mom. What
started out simply as a way to fill the
creative void brought by the early days
of parenthood, now has evolved into an
ever growing love and captivation with
knitting and pattern design.
Having worked for years as a translator
and also within the architecture and
interior design industry, Inese has
developed a keen eye for details and
subtleties. She likes to explore the
correlation of textures and colours and
experiment with levels of contrasts within
her patterns, making them engaging to
knit and fun to wear. A city girl turned
suburbanite, she designs with comfort
and versatility in mind.
Inese lives in Coquitlam, BC with her
family and draws an endless inspiration
from the beauty of surrounding nature
and, being a keen world traveller – also
from the impressions, fleeting moments
and experiences of her travels.
