Three bars and a clandestine fifth in Torreón are closed

The state authorities closed three restaurant-bars during this weekend, as well as a fifth
clandestine where the health prevention protocols for covid-19 were not respected.
According to the Operational Coordination of Registers of the State Finance Secretariat,
the fifth is located in the colony through Professionals and there were more than 70 young
people consuming alcohol and medical certificates, the presence of at least four minors
was detected. In addition to that, the previous verification that the property did not have
any sanitary filter or signage, contrary to all the indications of the Ministry of Health, and
the Technical Subcommittee of the Laguna Region. The alcohol inspectors arrived at the
site after receiving the report from the Torreón Police, as their elements received a report
of a clandestine celebration and with what happened on Saturday night they add up to
two occasions when the place is closed. State and municipal health inspectors also
participated in the closure procedure. The four minors (two men and two women) were
referred to the Specialized Unit for Municipal Public Security Attention and contact was
made with the parents. In the operation on Saturday night, the state agencies also closed
a bar on Escobedo Avenue and García Carrillo Street, as there was an overcrowding and
no sanitary filter. After that, an overcrowding was detected in another restaurant-bar
located on Avenida Juárez and Calle 20, where inspection and verification personnel
prepared the minutes and affixed the stamps of each corresponding closure. A restaurant
bar was also detected that had expired its permits for the sale and consumption of
 alcohol, in the neighborhood of Quintas San Isidro. Similarly, a report
was drawn up in a restaurant on Avenida Morelos and Calzada Colón,
where the provisions of the Ministry of Health in relation to tobacco
consumption were violated.
