1. What is the “ethical ad blocker” described in the video?

Answer:
Darius Kazemi created the Ethical Ad Blocker, which entirely blocks any website that
supports advertisements. His solution to the ad problem is to simply avoid visiting any
website that supports advertisements.
It serves as a timely reminder that when a product is offered for free, the spectator becomes
the product. Since the viewer may read many articles, periodicals, etc. for free and without
having to pay up front cash money, those things have already been paid for. With the
promise of a viewer's presence, the magazine or website sold them to the advertiser.
Because of this, ethical ad blockers advise that the best way to leave an area that is overrun
with ads is to avoid going there in the first place.

2. Why are algorithmic advertising technologies increasingly important to advertisers?

Answer:
As mentioned in the video, while advertisers hope you'll watch their ads about topics you're
interested in learning more about, it feels more like they're pushing topics they know you
won't be interested in on you. The same adverts will so show up on whatever website you
open.
An algorithm can assist target new adverts by swiftly identifying new data patterns. Any data
that marketers come upon can be used to their advantage.

3. Where do you stand on the use of ad blockers?

Answer:
I’m using Ad-blocker since it keeps me away from irritating advertisements and reduces the
quantity of data that is carried over my internet.
It helps to protect everyone from viruses and hacks. Moreover, it aids in preventing children
from accessing goods or websites that are not necessary.
However, I also acknowledge that having to pay for the site's upkeep creates a difficult
scenario. For instance, in the newspaper sector, any retailer can pay to display his
advertisements while customers also pay the business that prints the newspaper. But on the
websites, the visitor just pays for the time he spends viewing the advertisement.
