Developing Student Skills through

Extracurricular School Activities

I. Introduction

A lot of students particularly at Tinago National High School fail to display their
talent, skills and abilities. They lack the voice to communicate their feelings and
showcase their capabilities.

To deal with this issue, SSG or Supreme Student Government encourage the
students to join in different clubs to help express their feelings. For example the
Youth for Environment in Schools Organization or YES O this organization
strengthen the ability of the students to lead cleanliness in our environment. We
use social media platforms to inform the student about the proposed activities.

Extracurricular activities like activities provided by the different clubs and other
activities that will provide development in the students will be implemented.

II. Purpose

The primary goal for having an extracurricular activities is to improve the skills of
the students through school activities. It would be beneficial if the school activity

For the students that lack extracurricular activities, the first step to improve the
students is to implement valuable activities that can support their plans
opportunities available it’s still a good idea to provide at least few clubs or
choices to choose from. Picking activities that show talent, express positive traits
and provide experience are fantastic place to start

IV. Objective

 To develop the social and academic skills of the students


 To give them knowledge or to understanding on the different occupational
skills to allow students to showcase their skills
 To give awareness on their mindset about the various of each students
 To gain career orientation and reediness skills

V. Methodology
We first have to seek for the approval of the school head after the approval we
will start to find interested students who wants to join and be part of the clubs
and organization. We also need to ask for advisor ship of the clubs and
organization that will handle students that have joined.
