Rationale To give parents and learners a head start in the Education’s Face-to-Face Learning
and in line with the Department of Education (DepEd) thrust the important role of
parents/ guardians in making sure that the learning of their children will continue
amid expected disruptions brought by the pandemic.

Objectives  To ensure that all parents are informed about the educational setup in this
face-to-face learning.
 To help parents to embrace the New Normal situation and expect to realize
their role in the teaching-learning process at their homes.
 To orient parents about school policies, rules, and regulations to engage
them in their children’s learning process.
 To elect classroom officers

NARRATIVE REPORT
Orientation and Learning Session
on the Conduct of Psychosocial Support Activities
August 22-26, 2022
To help ensure that learners’ mental health and well-being are prioritized as the
country transitions back to in-person classes, the Grade Four Section Three class conducted
psychosocial support activities on August 22 to August 26, last week pursuant to Division
Memorandum no. 117 s. 2022 in relation to DepEd Memorandum number DRRMS-08-04-
2022-000.
Various activities such as “feeling Circle”, “Body Mirror”, “Camera”, “Confidence
Drawing”, and “Trees of Life” were done. “Tense and Relax” and “Helping Hands” are
activities enjoyed most by the pupils. Smiles and happiness on the faces of each pupil were
seen after each activity. Story Telling, Playing Larong Pinoy Games, singing and dancing
were also done.
The pupils were also taught the “Philippine National Anthem”, “DepEd Cabanatuan
March”, “Panatang Makabayan”, and the DepEd Cabanatuan Mission, Vision, and Core
Values.
These activities encouraged pupils to establish healthy routines and help them connect
with their peers. These promote holistic child development including physical, emotional, and
social development.
