● Calculated and analyzed performance of Feedwater heater (FWH) and air preheater (APH).
● Calculated and analyzed unit performance (Heat Rate) using Cycle Tempo simulation for any
conditions of High-Pressure Heater (HPH).
● Observed condition of boiler tubes, Turbine blades, APH seals and heating element, condenser
tubes, FWH tubes, and Water Box (Maintenance activity).
● Analyzed root cause failure of feedwater heater especially high-pressure heater 3 (HPH-3).
● Analyzed a relation between APH heating element corrosion and off-service HPH.
