I.BASIC CONCEPTS:
resistance is the algebraic sum of the resistances. The current through the circuit can be found
from Ohm's law and is equal to the voltage divided by the equivalent resistance. The potential
drop across each resistor can be found using Ohm's law. There are several reasons why we
would use multiple resistors instead of just one resistor with a resistance equal to the equivalent
resistance of the circuit. Perhaps a resistor of the required size is not available, or we need to

Based on the given table, in terms of the voltmeter’s voltage we measured: 2 V, 4 V, 6 V. And for the
Current 1 𝐴. Thus, analyzing the data gathered, we can assert that the voltage increases while the current
stays as one.

Based on the given table, in terms of voltmeter’s voltage we measured: 12v. And for the Ampere, we got
0.0044A, 0.006A, 0.00686A, 0.016A.

Upon doing the experiment we developed a stronger and fuller understanding of the topic,
especially the Equivalent Resistance. We have successfully measured and computed the given activity.
We have familiarized ourselves on how series and parallel work Having the knowledge regarding Ohm’s
Law and basic electrical elements are important especially in learning Resistance, Voltage, and Current
as part of the ohm’s law. We have done this experiment with the help of simulator, it is a great
experience working through the simulator (Phed and Multism) but we recommend to do this experiment
