My vision for india @100 years.

My vision for India in upcoming 25 years is to reduce unemployment as much as possible. If population
is controlled then for sure the unemployed youths will not agonize for employment. Mostly,
unemployed youths tilt towards criminal activities. Giving more employment will lead more economical
and social development. But development without sustainable development will be useless. Sustaining
the resources along with rapid overall development will give thrust to our country’s progress. A very
great gateway cashless payment has been introduced in 2016 by NPCI called Unified Payment Interface
(UPI). Now, one can easily send/receive money via their phones. This method is much simpler than any
other cashless payment like net banking, card payment etc. As per December 2021 data released by
NPCI, more than 8 lakh crores rupees were transacted. This is a very huge amount, nearly 3 times our
health budget, 2020-21. If proper shove is given into this field, then it will become a boon for our
country’s growth. Urbanisation comes with industrialization, a very common phrase. Keeping this in
mind, if government makes some provision like making franchisees of national/multinational
industries/companies at low cost in rural and undeveloped areas, then those isolated areas will also
flourish as big towns and cities. A very good initiative has been taken by the Government of India, which
is appreciable, I.e. Make In India campaign. Through this initiative many Indian local businessman are
coming up and are producing and manufacturing goods domestically. In future, the few of them will
grow their companies/industries at national/international level. If this field is also given a very proper
guidance and support from government, then MAKE IN INDIA campaign will become successful at a very
fast pace.

India’s health budget fourth lowest in world in 2020-21: Oxfam. The public healthcare system in the
country, including that of the state and central government is close to 1.3% of GDP. Our GDP was
around 2.6 lakh crores USD in 2020 and only 1.3% i.e. USD 3380 Cr was spent, which means on an
average government spent around Rs 1763/head which is very low. Our country has such diseases
which is very costly for the treatment. If the expenditure is increased to around 12% of GDP, then
we will be in such a position to compete at world level with medical facilities and infrastructure. If
health of population is excellent, then automatically they will produce more outputs. Education,
one of the biggest sector which needs a proper and very powerful thrust. India needs to spend
6% of its gross domestic product (GDP) on education, every national education policy
(NEP) since 1968 has said. In 2019-20, 52 years since that recommendation, India
spent only 3.1% of its GDP on education, the 2019-20 Economic Survey showed. This
is very concerning issue. NEP,1968 clearly implies that India has to have spend 6% of
GDP but government somehow failed to follow which resulted that students need to
go abroad for higher and better education. Students of BPL family or less-income
family only attend government schools whereas family who can afford the fees of
private schools send their wards to private institutions. This clearly shows that the
provisions made in government schools are not sufficient and up-to-date. In some
cities and towns, government has taken the initiative to upgrade government
schools. If better provisions are made and up-to-date facilities are provided by the
government then the students from rich and poor family can study together which
will also reduce the social barrier among the societies. Moreover, students can study
the same materials at low cost. Educating the youths will surely empower them. We
can dominate over the world in terms of education.

Pollution, a very serious and disastrous issue on which whole world is concerned.
Particularly, India is one of the most polluted countries. PM Narendra Modi
announced that India will achieve net zero carbon emission by 2070. If this goal is
achieved within 25 years, then it will one of the biggest achievements ever by India.
