Personal Statement
I am a hardworking and ambitious Biology Major with a Minor in Leadership Studies seeking admission
into a nursing program, with the ultimate goal of obtaining a Master’s Degree in nursing. As a member of
the Leadership Institute and executive in Panhellenic Council, I have served as a resilient leader over the
last four years and believe in collaborating with and encouraging those around me. I work very hard to
complete a task, and give 110% to everything that I do. I believe that the organization, critical thinking
and communication skills I have honed over my four years at URI will serve as building blocks for my
ongoing education, and will enable me to be a strong, detail oriented and compassionate health care
provider.
