Specific strength
The specific strength of composites is somewhat the most significant advantage that they provide
to the aviation sector. Carbon composite is around a quarter of the steel bars and 70 percent of
the mass of aluminum, but it is significantly harder and more durable. Composites are used by
exclusive automotive manufacturers to reduce the weight of vehicles by up to 60% while
enhancing collision protection (Hayat et al., 2019). Thick composite with diverse-layers
lamination absorbed additional heat as compared to only one layered steel. Using composites to
their full potential offers advantages to both producers and clients.

1.2. Low cost


Composites materials offer cheaper prices of the goods to the aerospace sector than conventional
materials such as specialized thermosetting, and alloys when evaluating their expenditures based
on their quantity. Furthermore, since composites materials contain little fuel, these are not
vulnerable to the cost changes that affect commodities that mainly relied on petrol (Diagboya, et
al., 2020).
