Contact molding

According to Barile et al.(2019), contact molding is considered one of the most basic and oldest
manufacturing procedures which are extensively employed. This procedure is similar to a
mechanism of simple bonding of an art chart on a wall using a brush. In this procedure, the
epoxy is poured into a dried reinforcement positioned upon a workpiece. For the purpose of
drying the lamination, To dry the lamination at a pressure exerted by air, the tool and material
are wrapped in a vacuum container and the excessive air underneath the container is released.
The following fig 5. Represents a typical contact molding process.

The capacity percentage of reinforcing is restricted to the normal compaction because the
pressure drop is fairly modest, and drying is normally taking place at ordinary ambient
temperature.
