timeline. What important milestones should be noted? What was the impetus
behind the idea?

What is your mission statement?

Steve’s draft as per the brand questionnaire; “To build, sustain, and innovate diversity,
inclusion, and equity in statistics departments through collaboration and leadership.”
From my research about mission statement best practices, it seems that they should be
more targeted and specific. Just as an example rather than “through collaboration and
leadership,” something like “by connecting statistics students and budding
professionals with employers and mentors.”

Based upon our conversations, Steve’s mockup of the landing page of the site, and
site navigation best practices, I created this sitemap as a jumping-off point. All caps
words would appear in the navigation menu and the underlined words would show
up in drop down menus underneath when a site visitor hovers over.
