1. What does the saying "the Earth is like a gas station" mean?
ANSWER: Earth is the only known world having plenty of liquid water. Liquid
water is a crucial aspect of life. Earth is the only planet to be built on. Therefore,
Earth comprises of land, air, water, and life. The land is formed of mountains,
valleys, and flat places. The air is composed of many gases. We get our oxygen
from gases. There are numerous life styles on Earth. Earth is inhabited by
humans, animals, and plants. Every living thing on Earth need air, which is
composed of gases.
Eudamonia - refers to pursuing the right actions that lead to one’s “well-
being.” Ancient Greek philosophers developed normative ethical theories
called virtue ethics that emphasize the virtues of mind and character.
