EXPLANATION ABOUT THE INNOVATION :

To make this train model, I used a plastic bottle, straw, balloon, two satay sticks and four bottle
caps. Each part of the materials that I used represents each part of the train model. The plastic
bottle represents as the body of the train. Then, the two of the satay sticks that connects the
wheels to the body of the train and allows it to spin represents as the axle. Besides, the four of
bottle caps represents as the wheels of the train model.

REFLECTION:
From this activity, I get to learn more about the potential energy and also kinetic energy from
the innovation of my train model. When a balloon is inflated, it stores the compressed air as the
potential energy. When I let the air out of the balloon, the potential energy is converted into
kinetic energy which is the energy of motion that allows the train to move. The more air in the
balloon, the more kinetic energy and the faster or further the train will travel.

IMPACTS (EFFECT) OF INNOVATION:

This innovation will show people about the importance of energy because even a train model
using energy to make it move. Energy is needed for almost anything and everything in life.
Energy is very important in our daily lives because it is a basic human need. Energy is necessary
for getting up out of bed, walking down the street, or even lifting your finger. Besides, it's also

necessary in abundance for all types of modern conveniences, from light bulbs to appliances to
vehicles. In conclusion, the train model taught us the importance of energy that we have to
conserve it in the sense of being smart about using the available energy within our
environment.
