ANNEX 2 (Post mod. 06521)

Annex 2 provides information to help maintenance operators in the troubleshooting

routine. The aim of the Annex 2 is to eliminate or confirm some detected alerts
through reset procedure and LRU system test when available.

CAUTION: If you have any doubts in the elimination of the fault, refer to the
corresponding fault isolation procedure before releasing the aircraft.

NOTE: For TSM in electronic format you can use the search function.

This Annex 2 does not cover all the messages/faults that may be detected on the
aircraft.
If the message/fault is not given in the Annex 2, refer to the FAULT SYMPTOMS
paragraph then to the corresponding FAULT ISOLATION procedure.

Table 1 gives the functional designation and location of each circuit breaker or
pushbutton switch used in Table 2.

Table 2 is organized in a four-column table, disposed as follows:

- “MW or MC”: Gives the type of messages
MW: Master Warning
MC: Master Caution
- “Warning or Caution messages”: Gives the messages/faults, alphabetically
ordered.
NOTE: The warning and caution messages are displayed on EWD alert window.
These messages are also logged on the MCDU (menu ACMS/CMC/LAST FLIGHT
REPORT).
- “MAINTENANCE ACTION”: Gives the corrective action (PROCEDURE) and the
associated system test (if available) you have to perform.
If no maintenance action is given in this column refer to the “If the alert
persists, perform” column.
NOTE: If the test of the system is not ok, refer to:
- TSM 451000FIG.201 for "RAI EQUIPT-A" message
- TSM 451000FIG.202 for "CHK WRG EQUIPT-A*EQUIPT-B" message

- “If the alert persists, perform”: Provides the ATA/Chapter (thru a link)
where the fault isolation procedure corresponding to the Fault Symptom is
described.

If you have any doubts in the elimination of the fault, refer to the
corresponding fault isolation procedure before releasing the aircraft.

General information
The Annex 2 must be used only with the aircraft on the ground and in maintenance
status (Refer to the introduction of this manual).
