1. Do you agree that knowing the history of your own locality, barangay,
municipality and province is important? Why?
Answer:
Yes, because history of our own locality is very important in order for us to know
where we came from and the information that we need to know all about our local
history.
What is the importance of local history writing to the learners, educators and
school heads, to the political leaders and the citizens of the locality.
Answer:
As the saying goes “History is the past and mirror of the present”, the importance
of local history writing can help the students or learners, educators and school heads, to
the political leaders and the citizens of the locality by giving them the past history of
that locality and this collection can be used in community information service.

2. What is the rationale in writing the local history of the Philippines?


Answer:
The rationale behind the need to come up with the local history is the realization
of the unrepresentative and limited nature of Philippine History.

Do you agree in this movement of local history writing in your locality? Why?
Answer:
Yes, because in order for us to know all the information needed by writing them.

your proposed title of your study?
Answer:
Cultural Mapping on the Hispanic Heritage of Villareal Samar.
And why will you conduct such study?
Answer:
I want to uncover how rich the culture of early Villahanons was and establish
information that can add the existing knowledge on local history of the Philippines.

Who will be your respondents or an eye witness as narrators? Why will you chose
them?
Answer:
The primary respondents are the old one or the native citizen who are still alive.
Because they are the only one who can answer all my querries.

What do you perceive as your handicap in writing and finishing your thesis
writing to the end? Give at least five reasons and explain briefly.
Answer:
 Respondents – because they are only few.
 Resources – because almost all of the heritage is being renovate.
 Photographs – because it’s very hard to find and others are faded.
 Speeches – because the native citizen almost they forgot what happened in
the past because of aging.
 Original artworks – because most of them are being renovate.

3. Based on the historical movies you have seen or presented, example “Articulo
Uno” or “Quezon Games”, how was the stories of these two movies during the
Spanish-American Era in the Philippines made possible for the present
generation to see and learn?
Answer:
It made possible for the present generation to see and learn about these
movies itself. And also the documentaries and the witness itself that use by
making the movies and the production.

What were the factors that helped in the production of these movies?
Answer:
The factors that helped in the production are the survivors itself and their
influence to made the said movies.
What made Pres. Quezon decide to accept the Jews as refugees in the Philippines?

Answer:
Pres. Manuel L. Quezon decide to accept the Jews as refugees in the Philippines
because of the Act of humanity and inspired by the president’s open door policy to
welcome the displaced Jews, chronicles the challenges and the triumph of that political
and moral undertaking and also by the influence of his friend.

Answer:
The primary sources of these movies are the Witness, Jews, survivors, etc.
