 CASE STUDY 1

In my opinion, one of the ethical issues in this case is the issue of honesty and
integrity, which is responsibility. For me, the journalist has done the best thing. This is
because he has revealed a corruption case that has been going on for a long time. However,
even though he revealed the case, he did not reveal the identity of those involved. This means
that the journalist still has sympathy in him. However, the journalist still carries out his
responsibilities. This means, in that he has a sympathetic nature, he does not forget his
responsibility in his work and always maintains his ethics in his work. The ethical issue that
emerges in this case is the issue of dishonesty of an employee in a company where he is
involved in a big corruption case. It can be seen here that the main ethical issue that occurs is
the issue of integrity in work and also there is no value of honesty in them. Therefore, based
on this case, it is clear that the values of honesty, responsibility, integrity and respect are very
important in the life of a human being.

CASE STUDY 4

In my opinion, among the ethical issues that occur in this case is the issue of integrity
and irresponsibility in work. This is because the pharmacy has undergone experiments on the
professor for the medicine they provide. This shows that they do not have the nature of
responsibility in their work. In addition, they also asked the professor to delete information
about drugs that have side effects. This shows their dishonesty in their work and do not take
care of their ethics at all and in fact this case is included in a serious case of corruption
because they did sponsorship conditions to the professor by deleting bad information about
their medicine. Through this case, we can conclude that the main issue that can be seen is
dishonesty and irresponsibility in their work. The issue of not maintaining integrity is also
exposed in this case. Therefore, we should respect the needs of others and always take care of
our work ethics and not be self-important so that no one party will lose and suffer.
