The very first significant concept/principle I gained from this module is the use
of ICT in the teaching and learning that is, it provides an information in which
students and teachers are in this line to effectively use ICT. However, this
inculcate their minds to inform and emphasize the importance of teaching and
learning which let them introduced a more constructive and innovative
ideas.Another one is the NETS*S or what we called ISTE National Educational
Technology Standards for Students, that discussed the six standards of
student learning outcomes from the perspective of how technology teachers
assist learners. The six ISTE standard for teachers and students will serve as
guide in making them productive especially as to how the teachers informed
their learners will also let students get the knowledge they need with the use of
technology. Next, the roles of technology for teaching and learning considered
as one significant principle in which according to Stosic (2015) that educational
technology has 3 domains e.g., technology as a tutor, technology as a teaching
tool, and technology as a learning tool. This 3 domains enhances students and
teachers creativity in getting valuable information and to allow them to explore
educational technology. Also, we have to bear in mind the usage and
importance of technology in our lives in order to use it properly that is one
significant principle. Lastly, the ICT competency standard for pre-service
teachers covers all the objectives in enabling students to handle learners in the
future classroom and become a proficients learners.

This principles I've learned in this module will serve as a guide for my future
job as a teacher. I will used up all of the topics presented in this module and
apply them to my work to betterly teach students and to effectively inform them
the right learnings they need. Also, it will help me avoid the imbalance teaching
to my students that can actually make them bored.

This module 1 covers the ideas on the teaching and learning with technology in
which both students and teachers are entertained to know some
principles/concepts in this lesson and also to effectively use technology in their
lives. It taught me about the Educational Standards for Teachers, which will
one day serve as a guide for me as I plan technology-based activities to help
students succeed in learning, communication, and life skills. The first activities
help me practice my identification skills by requiring me to identify which
competency domain the examples of course learning outcomes provided in the
activity belong to. The second activities were about technology concepts and
terms which let me know about the important ideas behind technology. I was
able to know some terms related to technology for teaching and learning, as
well as the applications of these terms. The third activities were about the
importance of technology to both students and teachers as I've learned how
students can use technology for educational purposes, to become more
knowledgeable, and to have easy access to any information with the help of
current technologies. Furthermore, this module inculcated my mind as I've
read all of the ideas about technology for learners and teachers. It gives me a
strong knowledge in becoming a teacher someday, to be creative and
productive in my own.
