I’m pleased to be applying for the Integrated MS/PhD position for Organic Optoelectronics Lab in
Department of Electronic Materials Engineering. As a graduate student of Electrical and Electronic
Engineering Department, I believe that my academic experience working with p-n junction, diode,
transistor, MOSFET etc. can contribute greatly to your research.
As per the requirement, the focus would be on photo physics of organic and hybrid molecules,
organic/perovskite solar cells and light-emitting diodes. I would like to mention that my
undergraduate thesis was on thin-film ZnTe absorber layer based solar cell. The thesis was
mainly simulation based; concentrated on the efficiency improvement by comparison of data
varying window layer, BSF etc. Parameters like temperature, doping concentration, thickness
have brought under consideration to enhance the performance. For this observation I have used
WxAMPS software. Along with I have work experience of almost two years and five months on control
systems and automation. During this period my technical analysis capacity got improved; also learnt
management, coordination, how to work independently etc.

I am looking for some opportunities through which I can expand my academic knowledge on efficient
research-based works along with my corporate experience. Also, you are seeking candidates who are
enthusiastic, motivated, cooperative mostly with research-topic focused knowledge. That’s why I have
taken the steps to express my interest.
