£9000 Series Converter Release Date: December 3, 2000 [ Spicer Off-Highway Products Division C AND CL 9000 SERIES TORQUE CONVERTERS TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 1.0 General Deseription/ Model Designation ‘The Spicer Off-Highway C9000 Torque Converter Series was designed for and has found excellent acceptance in vehicles requiring C8000 drive capacity but requiring higher pump drive rating and an expanded pump drive center distance. The Series is in production with wet cast iron drive gear and the 16.7 converter in a non-lockup configuration. The basic design provides two SAE "C" pump drives with the housing casting capable of being machined to SAE "D" size pump opening. Output gearing and availability is same as the C8000 with engine and output speed sensors available. Lockup, flexplate drive, and additional converter wheel selections will be developed as required.
