• Some examples of lead-up games are ball
activities that condition students to enter
the world of ball games.
• Developing agility and speed in
games is attributed to training hard,
playing lead-up games, and
demonstrating a strong
determination to acquire these
skills.
• Most lead-up games also
involve locomotor movements
such as running and jumping
which children enjoy doing
the most.
