begin our dinner reception so please locate your respective seats and make yourself comfortable.

begin in 30mins. During this period, you may enjoy having your pictures taken around the area and
after, please locate your respective seats.

 HOST’S WELCOME REMARKS


A very good evening to everyone and welcome to Bienas and Cielo’s wedding reception. We
are done with the solemn part of the celebration and we thank those people who were with us
earlier at St. Isidore Parish Church for the wedding ceremony. And for those who just join in,
Welcome! And so, here we are at the famous Kissbone Cove in St. Bernard for the most exciting
part – the Dinner reception for our newlyweds in celebration of the beginning of their new life
together. So sit down, relax and enjoy the rest of the evening.
I am Nico Adam Antipala, cousin of the bride…. And I am Fatima Joy Antipala, also a cousin
of the bride..And together we had been given the task by the bride herself to be your Hosts for
tonight.
We thank you all for gracing this joyful occasion especially to those who took a leave of
absence from work and to those who traveled just to be with us amidst the pandemic we are now
facing. In behalf of Bienas and Cielo and their parents, I would like to express their heartfelt
gratitude for your presence at this memorable occasion. It is indeed a pleasure to have you all
tonight.

 INTRODUCTION & ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS


 Parents of the Newlyweds
Before anything else, we would like to acknowledge the key persons who took a great part
of this joyous affair. For without their support, this event would not be possible. Ladies and
gentlemen, it is with great pleasure to introduce to you the Parents of the Bride, Mr.
BasilioBernabe Jr. and Mrs. Lourdes Bernabe. A big round of applause please.
And of course, we are truly happy to have here with us the Mother and Grandfather of the
Groom, let us give a big hand to Mrs. Emilia Tesado and Mr. BienvenidoTesado Sr.
Ma’am & Sir, thank you so much for your support.
 Principal Sponsors
We would also like to acknowledge our Principal Sponsors. Let’s start off with the ladies.
Please make a stand as your name is called.
Our first lady sponsor is a teacher and an aunt of the bride. All the way from Sagbok,
Hinundayan, friends, please welcome Mrs. Maria Flora Oyong. Thank you ma’am/auntie for
gracing this occasion.
Our next female principal sponsor is a businesswoman and also the groom’s aunt, all the
way from Hinundayan too. Friends, lets give a big hand to Mrs. Maria Editha Ramirez. Thank
you ma’am for sparing your precious time with us.
And that’s it for the ladies, now we go over to the gentlemen. So again, please make a stand
as your name is called.
Our first gentleman is a businessman and husband of our first female sponsor. Coming all
the way from Hinundayan, let’s all welcome Mr. Arsenio Oyong. Thank you sir/uncle for
being with us tonight.
Our last but definitely not the least among our sponsors, is an uncle of the groom from
Hinundyan also. Let’s all give a big hand to Mr. BienvenidoTesado Jr.

our officiating priest for the wedding ceremony. Thank you Fr./uncle for going out of your

So I guess, that’s about it. I hope we didn’t miss out anyone. If we did, please be so kind to

 ENTRANCE OF THE BRIDE AND GROOM


At this point, I assume that everyone has settled down and we are all ready to welcome the
newlyweds….. Tonight calls for a grand celebration and it is my distinct pleasure to introduce to you
for the very first time Bienas and Cielo as husband and wife. So without further ado let us all rise
and give our warmest welcome to Mr. and Mrs. BienasTesado. Music maestro!
(newlyweds enter the hall)
Congratulations Bienas and Cielo and best wishes to both of you. We wish you to be blessed
with a long and happy life with your future children…. So there you have it ladies and gentlemen,
our new lovely couple. Let us againgive them a big round of applause.

 GRACE BEFORE MEALS


Well, for now, the food is ready and dinner will commence shortly. May I call on
____________________ to say the grace before meals.

 DINNER
Thank you _________________. So there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Dinner is
served. You are all hereby invited to partake the dinner. You may now get your food at the buffet
table. Please enjoy your meal.
 CAKE CUTTING
May I have your attention please, I guess by now everyone had their fill of our sumptuous
food prepared by Kissbone Cove. We would like to thank the operation manager of Kissbone Cove,
Mr. Daniel Sumabat for the wonderful accommodation and service that they are providing us here.
And now, let us resume with our program, and its time for cake cutting ceremony. We have
here a beautiful wedding cake. May I request the couple to proceed to the cake’s table. Ladies and
gentlemen, please direct your attention to the cake cutting tradition.
(newlywed put their hands together to slice the cake then share each other’s cake to
partner)
The two hands moving as one with one purpose, symbolizes that the two will work in unity
to reach common goals for their shared future and their life together as one. The sharing of this
food symbolizes the couple’s willingness to fulfill each other’s needs, creating a bond so simple and
yet so strong.

 WINE CEREMONY
And now, to symbolize and celebrate the blending of your two lives into one, I invite you to
perform the wine ceremony.
(the arms of the couple intertwine as they drink wine)

This ceremony represents your two individual lives, now intertwined; combined like the
glasses wine into one single life. The drinking of the combined wine signifies the commitment you
now make to live your lives as one family. May you remember this day of commitment you have
sealed with drinking of the new wine joining your lives as one.
Let us give our lovely couple our warmest applause.

 BEST MAN’S TOAST


A celebration is never complete without a toast. Ladies and gentlemen, it takes a strong and
intelligent man to realize his dreams and achieve his goals in goals life and love. A man that is not afraid
to live life to its fullest and embrace what is truly important. I’m here to talk about Bienas and Cielo –
two people who have come together today to form a union that will surely last forever.
May we call on the Best Man to do the honor…

At this point, we have a dance number to entertain you for the meantime, please welcome

 FATHER – DAUGHTER DANCE


And now, as the dance floor is cleared for everyone, it is time for a very special dance of the
bride with the first man in her life – her father. May we request the father of the bride, Mr.
BasilioBernabe to approach his daughter for the “father & daughter dance”. Music please…
(dances for about a minute)

 FIRST DANCE OF THE COUPLE


Tonight is indeed a special night and will be forever etched in the memory of our beloved
couple. On this joyful beginning, what could be more fitting than to celebrate it with their first dance.
The first dance is symbolic of the consummation of their wedding vows. This dance is the wedding
couple’s first cooperative engagement and joint endeavor. Ladies and gentlemen, it is once again my
privilege to present to you Mr. and Mrs. BienasTesado in their first dance.
(couple dances for one or two minutes)

 MONEY DANCE
Ladies and gentlemen… find your purses and wallets… it’s now time for our money dance
where you will get the chance to financially bless our couple. Our maid of honor and best man will be
handing to you pins for you to attach the bills you will be sharing to the newlyweds.
(Adlib)Mr&Mrs ____, what is your favorite color? Well, they said that violet is GOOD, yellow
is BETTER but BLUE is the best! hehehe)

 WELL WISHES FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS


It is said that our parents are our first teachers having raised us patiently from our childhood
to adulthood. They have been our source of comfort, support and inspiration. Bienas and Cielo are truly
blessed with such wonderful parents and I’m quite sure when it comes to knowing what marriage is all
about, they always have a word or two to share to their children. We would like to call on the mother
of the bride, Mrs. Lourdes Bernabe to say a few words of wisdom and best wishes to our newlyweds.
(after mama Diding’s speech) Thank you so much Mama Diding/Ma’am Lourdes for that
heartwarming message. And now we would like to call on the mother of the groom, Mrs. Emilia Tesado
to say a few words of wisdom to our newlyweds.

couple. And now, in behalf of our male principal sponsors, we would like to call on Mr.
Bienvenidotesado Jr. to say a few words to Bienas and Cielo.

 BOUQUET THROW
Okay now, let us all have some fun and it’s time for the traditional Bouquet Throw.. At this
point, we would like to request all the single ladies to please come forward for the bouquet throw. We
would also like to request the bride to come forward and take her place center stage.
(emcee motions and waits for all single ladies to come forward)
Ladies, kindly take your place behind the bride and be prepared to catch the bouquet. It is
said that whoever catches the bouquet will soon be the next bride. So, is everyone in? Ready when you
are at the count of three, the bride will throw her bouquet. May I also request the audience to please
join me in the counting.
(when everyone is in place) Ready when you are ladies. Let us now do the counting. One…
Two… Three… and there it goes.
(after someone has catch the bouquet)May I request the lady who was able to catch the
bouquet to please come forward.

Okay let’s give a big hand to Miss _______________. Please have a seat beside the bride
and in a moment we shall find your match in the garter toss.

 RETRIEVAL OF THE GARTER


Before we go on with the garter toss, the groom is to retrieve the garter from his bride. So
may we request Bienas and Cielo to please come center stage and do the garter retrieval ritual.
(a chair is brought center stage for the bride. groom kneels and retrieve the garter from the
bride)
Ladies and gentlemen, the groom will now retrieve the garter from the bride.
(after the ritual)There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the groom was finally able to
retrieve the garter. Let’s give him a big hand.

 GARTER TOSS
Okay it is now the gentlemen’s turn and we will now do the Garter Toss. May I now request
all single men to please come forward for the Garter Toss.
(when gentlemen are now at the center)Gentlemen, please take your place behind the
groom and be ready to catch the garter. So, is everyone ready? At the count of three the groom will
throw the garter and again we request the audience to participate in the counting.
Ok ready when you are guys… One… Two… Three… Off it goes!!!
(after someone has already catch the garter)May I request for the gentlemen with a quick
hand who now have in his possession the garter. Sir, may I have your name please?(ifwakaila)
Thank you Mr. ___________. Friends, let’s give this gentlemen a big hand.

 MATCHMAKING RITUAL
Now that we already found a perfect match - the next bride and groom to be in future, it is
time for another ritual. The gentlemen who got the garter is to put it on the lady who caught the
bouquet. At this point, we would like to request Miss __________ to please have a seat while Mr.
____________ will put the garter. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. _____________ will now put on the
garter on Miss ___________.
(after the ritual) There you have it ladies and gentlemen. Give it up for our new lovely pair.
(no kiss/beso2x kay pandemic hahaha)Thank you Mr. _______ and Miss ________. Please do remain
onstage for the picture taking. The newlyweds will now pose with our lovely new pair.

 MESSAGE OF THANKS FROM THE NEWLYWEDS


The night and this celebration has almost come to an end but for our newlyweds it is just a
start of their new life together. As we each go home, may this day be memorable for all of us as it is to
them. To personally convey their heartfelt gratitude, let us now lend an ear to Bienas and Cielo.
