Brief introduction of the Institution:

Sri Viyay Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science was established in the Year of July 2009. Sri Vijay
Vidyalaya Educational Trust Chaired by the great Educationalist Thiru D.N.C.Manivannan., sponsors this
college and other educational institutions running under the name of Sri Vijay Vidyalaya Educational Trust.
Our institutions are situated on middle of the Dharmapuri Dt. on the way of Salem Main Road. This is a
biggest educational institution in India with more than 4583 students and at present the college offers 20
(UG) Courses, 10 (PG) Courses, 7 M.Phil Programmes and 5 Ph.D Programmes. The strength of the college
was just 250 at the time of its establishment. With the dedication, work, sacrifice and long vision of the
chairman, this institution has grown into a Himalaya stage. Recognised 2(f) and 2(b) under UGC Act 1956
with Accredited with NAAC ‘A’ grade is given to the college for its successful performance.

2. Programme Objective:
The aim of the Android OS Installation & Application Development workshops are regarded as the group of
individuals, who are assembled together to achieve a common purpose. The instructor ensure that they are
able to impart knowledge to the students in an appropriate manner and facilitate their learning. On the other
hand, the students are able to understand the subject and concepts better and up-grade their knowledge.
Through attending this workshops, the students are able to clarify their doubts and problems as well. These
are normally organized in terms of the subjects or topics, regarding which the students need to augment their
understanding. One of the major benefits of workshops is, the instructors and students are able to establish
connections.
3. Methodology
Methodology of this work shop is to teach about android OS installation and Hands-On
training to develop android applications. The beneficiaries of the workshop is Final Year
– M.Sc(CS)., Final Year - B. Sc(CS), Final Year B.C.A., M.Phil(CS)., Students
