Subject: Recommended platform and software to improve internal


communication.

The following reports compares three software programs and makes


recommendations about the most suitable platform or software for our company. I
have researched about software and platform offered by various companies and
narrow my choices to three: Dropbox, Microsoft 365 and Zoom. The main criteria
used when selecting the software were: 1. cost, 2. Efficiency, 3. Technical support.

1. Cost
Microsoft 365 offers a more competitive price in comparison to some software and
platform, including Dropbox and Zoom. The one-year price of Microsoft 365 is $70
- $100 per year. The Dropbox has slightly higher price and an additional fee for
each upgrade and it cost $140. The Zoom however has a higher price that the
other mentioned software which cost $240.

2. Efficiency
Dropbox is one of the most efficient and user-friendly cloud sharing solutions.
Teams can use Dropbox to better manage shared files, reducing the need for email
and improving the collaboration between employees. Microsoft is a productivity
software for organizations and individuals. With Microsoft 365 you have one
integrated solution including Teams, OneDrive cloud storage, and Office apps with
advanced security options. Connect it with your content management platform to
easily browse, edit and save stored documents directly from Microsoft Office.
Zoom Meetings is a video conferencing platform used to host meetings. With the
premium version, your Zoom meetings can cater to up to 1,000 participants, call
recording, unlimited phone calls and more. One of the reasons why Zoom
exploded in popularity was that it also offers webinar hosting services. With Zoom
Webinars you can have up to a massive 50,000 people on your live video webinar,
with custom virtual backgrounds. Leverage interactive and dynamic qualities
including Q/A, polling, hand raising, reporting, MP4/M4A recording with
transcripts, and registration options such as reminder and follow-up emails.

3. Technical Support
This software or platform companies offer excellent technical support online and
by phone.

Conclusions and Recommendations:


The Microsoft 365 is a more cost-effective choice in comparison to the Dropbox
and Zoom. It meets our company requirements and offer more flexibility by
offering a lot content and upgrades. Even though the annual user fee raises the
cost of it slightly but it seems to be worth it.
