• Select Clear in the Sort & Filter menu.

c) What are the ways to create custom lists?
Ans. The two ways to create custom lists are :

Ans. The steps to create a custom list of my five friends are:
i). In a worksheet, type the name of five friends and select the list.
ii). Click the File tab, and in the menu click Options. The Excel Options dialog
box opens up.
iii). In the left pane of the dialog box, click Advanced option and then under
General section, click the Edit Custom Lists . . . . button.
iv). The Custom List dialog box appears. Verify that the cell range of the list
items that we selected gets filled in the Import list from cells text box, and

then click Import. The list gets added to the List entries and the Custom
list box.

e) How will you sort data on one column in ascending order quickly?
Ans. The steps to sort data on one column in ascending order quickly are :
1) Select a cell in the column according to which you want to sort the data.
2) Click Home tab. In the Editing group, click the Sort & Filter button. A drop-
down list appears. Click Sort Smallest to Largest for ascending order.

for ascending order.
