Bucket Drill
- First, students will be divided into 6 groups (4
groups of 4, 2 groups of 3)
- They will all have a designated court to play on
- Taking turns, they will each hit the birdie to the
other side of the court, trying to aim in one of the
three buckets placed on the opposite side.
- Students will hit from the baseline of the court using
their dominant hand
- The furthest bucket from the net is worth 3 points,
Lesson the middle bucket is 2 points, and the closet bucket is
1 point.
Focus - Activity rules: players take turns hitting the birdie,
(15 min) first player to reach 10 points first wins. If the birdie
doesn’t land in a bucket, no points are awarded or
deducted.
