Abhishek ( Milky Way ) : The Milky way galaxy got its name from the way it looks from the
ground ; like a streak of split milk across the sky . This galaxy is formed by a huge collection
of stars , dust and gases and is only one of the billions of galaxies in our universe . Yes , The
Milky way is large but there are much larger galaxies in our universe ! The diameter of this
Milky way galaxy is about 100000 light years ; Where earth lies halfway between the center
and one outer edge . It would take 25000 light years to travel from the earth to the centre of
the milky way !
