Summary of Findings, Conclusions and Recommendations

Summary of Findings

After analyzing the data, the researchers came up with the

following:

1. The researchers used different tools such as survey

questionnaires to gather necessary data and information for

better development of the application. The survey questionnaires

were distributed to a total of 50 respondents.

A. Based on the features to be considered according to the

respondents in the terms of Screen Layout: Ranked first had a

weighted mean 7.76 and has a descriptive interpretation of

Required; Ranked second had a weighted mean 2.74 and has a

descriptive interpretation of Required; Ranked third had a

weighted mean 2.72 and has a descriptive interpretation of

Required. The Grand mean was 2.68 and has a descriptive

interpretation of required.

B. Based on the features to be considered according to the

respondents in the terms of System Capability: Ranked first

had a weighted mean 2.90 and has a descriptive interpretation

of Required; Ranked second had a weighted mean 2.84 and has a

descriptive interpretation of Required; Ranked third had a

 weighted mean 2.78 and has a descriptive interpretation of

Required. The Grand mean was 2.70 and has a descriptive

interpretation of required.

the respondents in the terms of Software Design: Ranked

first had a weighted mean 4.64 and has a descriptive

interpretation of Extremely Agree; Ranked second had a

weighted mean 4.4 and has a descriptive interpretation of

Agree; Ranked third had a weighted mean 4.38 and has a

descriptive interpretation of Agree. The Grand mean was 4.28

and has a descriptive interpretation of Agree.

B. Based on the assessment to be considered according to the

respondents in the terms of Effectiveness of the System:

Ranked first had a weighted mean 4.66 and has a descriptive

interpretation of Extremely Agree; Ranked second had a

weighted mean 4.64 and has a descriptive interpretation of

Extremely Agree; Ranked third had a weighted mean 4.48 and has
 a descriptive interpretation of Agree. The Grand mean was 4.42

and has a descriptive interpretation of Agree.

C. Based on the assessment to be considered according to the

respondents in the terms of Functionality of the System: Ranked

first had a weighted mean 4.76 and has a descriptive

interpretation of Extremely Agree; Ranked second had a weighted

mean 4.62 and has a descriptive interpretation of Extremely

Agree; Ranked third had a weighted mean 4.54 and has a

descriptive interpretation of Extremely Agree. The Grand mean

was 4.51 and has a descriptive interpretation of Extremely

Agree.

Conclusions

Based on the findings, the researchers came up with the

following conclusions:

1. The features to be considered in “E-Commerce for Gawad

Kalinga” in terms of Screen lay-out, the respondents gave an idea

on what would be the features that should be included in the

application.

2. The admissibility in the developed: “E-Commerce for

Gawad Kalinga” gave the respondents a trust in our system to

secure and protect their sensitive data and files.

Recommendation

Based on the summary of the findings and conclusion, the

following recommendations were given:

1. The researchers recommend that the E-Commerce for Gawad

Kalinga was useful for the employees of the said company.

2. The researchers recommend to the future developers to

develop a mobile application further our study according to

the needs of Gawad Kalinga.

3. This proposed system can be a good platform for them to

introduce their products. This System can also help the

admin to lessen their workload on selling their products.

4. The study revealed that the respondent agreed most

of the features presented in terms of easy to use according

to screen lay-out.

5. The suggested assessment in terms of effectiveness should

be further enhanced to meet the respondent’s demand.

6. The suggested features in terms of functionality should

be further enhanced to meet the respondent’s demand.
