    The Pearl of the Orient Seas

    Thriving under the sun


    Despite conquering giants
    Crises and tyrants
    Still it perseveres, still it stands

    The splendor of the Philippine flag


    Symbolizes hope and bravery
    How it rises and overcomes
    Amid our nation’s villains

    Unparalleled is the nation’s culture


    How it values family ties
    Keeps the spirit of hope up
    And magically transforms

    The culture that is cultivated


    How we give importance to it
    History unfolds and aspires
    As we try to unite as one

    How the people rejoice


    Why the nation holds independence
    All to the beloved country
    Through thousands of heroic bloodsheds
