MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF

BARANGAY POBLACION, LEGANES, ILOILO HELD AT THE BARANGAY HALL ON
DECEMBER 4, 2022 AT 10:00 A.M.

CALL TO ORDER:

Punong Barangay Rosemarie V. Inayan, called the session to order at 10:00 a.m. The
opening prayer was led by Barangay Kagawad Rosalie P. Tubongbanua, and followed by the
national anthem.

ROLL CALL:

The Barangay Secretary call the roll. All the members were present.

READING OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES:

The minutes of the previous session was read by the Barangay Secretary.
Since there were no more corrections made Barangay Kagawad Newell G. Celo moved to
adopt the minutes as read and duly seconded by Barangay Kagawad Elma G. Pasuelo.
The minutes of the previous session was unanimously approved as read.

CALENDAR OF BUSINESS:

a.) Unfinished Business:

 Barangay Kagawad Elma G. Pasuelo requested the Treasurer to prepare the

budget for the senior citizen’s Christmas Party this coming December 20,
2022.
 The Punong Barangay requested the Barangay Treasurer to arrange the
payment regarding the tarpaulin for the organizational chart of Barangay
Poblacion Officials.
 The Punong Barangay had already implemented the labor for declogging of
drainage canal at Extension Street including Jardeleza Subdivision.
 The repair of Poblacion Day Care Center D amounting to Php 20,000.00 is
approved for implementation. Canvass of materials needed is already
finished and repair should start as soon as possible for their upcoming
accreditation.
 Resolution No. 31 authored by Kagawad Stephene L. Apud, entitled a
Resolution approving the release of Php 30,000.00 for the fabrication of
mobile material recovery facility (trailer type) for efficient garbage
collection in Barangay Poblacion was amended to fabrication of Sidecar
(tangkal type).
 Fabrication/ Construction of footwalks for identified areas in the barangay
in the amount of Php 41,819.00 is approved and subject for implementation.

b) Business of the Day:

 The Punong Barangay reminded the body of the upcoming seminar on

December 13, 2022 at EON Centennial Hotel Alta Tierra Village Jaro Iloilo
City (CAPACITY ENHANCEMENT TRAINING-KATARUNGANG
PAMBARANGAY). The seminar requires 5 participants per barangay.
 The body agreed to hold its year- end evaluation and assessment on
December 15, 2022. The amount of Php 10,000.00 will be allocated for this
activity intended for dinner.
 AIDS and VAWC awareness forum will be conducted on December 14,
2022, this is in line with the VAWC Week Celebration which will kick- off
on December 12. Budget allocation for AIDS and VAWC will be utilized to
defray the expenses to be incurred in this activities.
 Kagawad Stephene L. Apud proposed a free circumcision program in
partnership with Jaro Seventh Day Adventist Church on December 20, 2022
at the Barangay Hall. As counterpart of this project, the Barangay would
pledge the amount of Php 10,000.00 to cover medicines and anesthesia
expenses to be used. This was approved by the body and the amount needed
will be taken from the budget allocation for cultural activities. Lunch and
snacks for the medical team and volunteers will be sponsored by private
person. The Punong Barangay tasked Kagawad Stephene L. Apud to
spearhead this said activity.
 The body agreed to schedule the release of Perfomance Enhancement
Incentive (PEI) together with the monthly honoraria on December 19, 2022.
  The Punong Barangay reminded the Chairman On Peace and Order to
mobilize the Barangay Tanods for the upcoming Simbang Gabi. Areas of
concern during this activity would be the Leganes Pavillon and the
Children’s Playground as these places are full of bystanders and prone to
commotion and fighting.
