1.Conclusions and implications When studying the motives for prolonged work
activ-ity of older workers in Slovenia, we observed different facets of human
occupational nature; including the need to feel safe, express abilities, preserve
routines, work in a meaningful way, contribute to the society and search for a
life’s purpose. (Bratun & Zurc, 2022)
6. RESULTS Before proceeding to our analyses, the quality of the data was
assessed by explorative descriptive analyses of missing data. The assessment
showed less than 5% missing data per variable. Even though there was some
missing data, there was no clear pattern in its missingness. Hence, we believed
that these data were missing at random. We proceeded with descriptive and
explorative analyses with univariate comparisons. Subsequently, we con- ducted
our main analyses of predicting motives of withdrawal and intention to allow
participants’ data to be linked.(Broekstra et al., 2022)
9. Results . Differences in the Big Five Traits between EA and NEA Table 1
presents personality traits for EA and NEA from the highest to the lowestmean
level. The two groups present the same order, characterized by
conscientiousness as the leading personality trait.(Marchese et al., 2022)
10. Results 3.1. Drinking Behaviors Table 1 presents the drinking behaviors
across the four age groups (i.e., 20s, 30s, 40s,and 50s). The most frequent
pattern among all age groups was drinking two to four times per month
(27.3%). Monthly drinking was reported in 56.4% (12.9% + 27.3% + 16.2%) of
respondents. About 22% drank less than once per month, and one-fifth (21.2%)
were abstainers. The quantity of alcohol consumed on each occasion was
assessed by the number of standard drinks. The mean drinking quantity across
all age groups was 4.06 (SD = 4.54) standard drinks.(Sohn & Jang, 2022)
