Instructions: Read each statement carefully. Distinguish if the statement is expressing truth or is a false
claim. If the statement is true, write the word Truth and False if otherwise. Seek more complex truths
through research. Write the evidences on the space provided.

1. Drinking alcohol and smoking are part of growing
Young people's use of alcohol and smoking is
frequently accepted as a normal part of up.
TRUE maturing. They might make use of this for a
variety of purposes. They could want to fit in
with specific groups or their buddies.

2. Human beings are bound to commit mistakes.

In everyone's life, mistakes are a sign of
TRUE growth and learning. If you don't make one,
you won't comprehend how important it was in
your life
3. A human person can lose his dignity.
. A person's dignity is never lost. we can't
FALSE deny that all of us sometimes we made a
mistake but it doesn't mean that on this case
we lost our own dignity. we cannot tell a
person's loss of own loss of dignity in a
person's personality because there you found
a person's dignity in himself or in his
personality. but a person will always retain a
fundamental dignity, which is the foundation
of his or her rights.
4. Copying and pasting from the internet hinders one
from his/her search for truth.
Nowadays, the majority of us consider using
TRUE Google or other online resources to obtain the
answer when we don't know the answer to the
question being posed. But everyone who
accumulates knowledge makes the error of
simply copying everything. We will never
forget that not all information obtained from
the internet is trustworthy or accurate
Therefore, conducting interviews is highly
advised when conducting research
5. It is alright to tell a white lie to save one from
disgrace.
Because telling white lies merely to spare
them from embarrassment causes them
anguish if they discover the truth. Telling
FALSE white lies for the sake of saving is no different
than being a liar.
6. Reading your daily horoscope determines your
day’s luck.
FALSE They simply perform very general and
fundamental tasks in order to make
predictions that may or may not work for you.
And if they don't work for you, and importance
in your life will suffer.
7. Telling and spreading gossips is unavoidable.

TRUE Gossip is not intrinsically harmful, it is

necessary for keeping our society connected

8. Human beings, by nature, are good.

TRUE According to this viewpoint, human beings are

good by nature since becoming a good
person is the outcome of cultivating our
intrinsic dispositions toward compassion,
justice, wisdom, and propriety.
9. Listening to fortune tellers can help you plan better
things for the future.
I find nothing wrong with consulting or even
paying fortune tellers for insight into our
destiny. But in order to attain the bright future
TRUE we want, we must also help ourselves. In
order to implement positive measures or
plans that will contribute to the wonderful life
we live in the future, we must also act or work
hard.
10. If you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say
it.
TRUE If we don't have anything pleasant
to say, it's better to keep quiet,
let's be critical of every word we
speak, there are also those who
are sensitive so it is better to keep
silent.

B. ESSAY WRITING

1. Does truth always matter to you?

ANS: Since lies don't convey reality or any other information, truth is important to me. The truth will aid you
more in your future.

2. Do we have to speak and seek for what is true all the time? Explain your answer.

ANS: Telling the truth is crucial because it helps everyone to improve. You establish a stronger link when
you learn how to properly explain your feelings and share them with others. Maybe you decide to inform
your significant other that you're not unhappy after a fight.

3. How do you judge the truth? What are the ways that you tried to do in search for truth?

ANS: You should first hear both sides of a story. The next step is to identify who is being honest and who
may be embellishing, lying, or acting evasively based on body language, plot, and delivery. Finding
concrete evidence and proof analytically is the last and most crucial stage.
