Ponce said that ff we can establish DORSU, the City of Mati and the Province of Oriental as
Regenerative Futures institutions, then our unique mission as a cohort of human beings, in this part of
the world and at this point in time, is fulfilled to ensure a legacy for the future. He said we are cohort
living in this beautiful environment. He elaborated about the society and industry. In society, we have
hunting society, agrarian society, industrial society, information technology, and super smart society. In
industry, we have, mechanization, water, power, steam power, mass production, assembly line,
electricity, computer and automation, and cyber physical systems. From the hunting society up to
agrarian society, nature is practically untouched, sustaining and regenarating but when industrial society
destroys the balance. Regenaration come from the word genesis according to him, meaning to to create
again or recreate, and the basic model of regenerative futures is to go back to natural systems, and the
key to go back is inteconnectivity. When we deviate the natural system model arises many problems. He
said we should not just sustain but also to regenerate by enhancing to provides surplus energy and
resources then that’s the best legacy we can give to our futures generations. It's our collective task of
restoring and regenerating. He emphasized that we can't have a new society with degraded
environment. He presents beautiful cultures and tourists spot and it's our obligation to preserve and
care for our future
