Connective tissue is the most abundant and most

diverse type of body tissue. All of it arise from

mesenchyme.  This tissue is consist of extracellular
matrix (made of uids & ground substances) and  bers
(collagens, elastic & reticular bers). Connective tissues
has two type of cells: immature and mature cells.
Immature CT can easily be recognized by suf x -blast,
(that secrete ground substance & bers). Three
groupings of connective tissue based on their matrices
are: liquid matrices, semi-solid matrices, and solid
matrices.

         The main type of cell that make up the nervous

system is the neuron. Neurons are differentiated (do not
divide). It is consist of  central part known as cell body
sometimes referred to as  nucleus or soma; dendrites
are branch-like structure communicating with other
nerve cell and its  conducting region  known as axon. 
Neuron that transmit signal away from CNS is known as
efferent while the neuron that transmit signal going to
CNS is afferent.    Aside from neurons there are
supporting cells known as glial cells  .
