Amazing price to quality ratio

I was looking for a 7 string guitar that will be perfect for

studio recording/live playing, but didn't want to burn my
pockets, so I decided to limit myself to around 1000
euro.
I looked through tons of schecters, ltd's and so on and
decided to try out this multiscale with fishmans. Can't be
more happy.

Visuals:
The guitar came spotless, no issues

Quality guitar, the second time around

It took two guitars in order to get it right, but I got what I

wanted, eventually.
The first guitar's bridge pickup would work only
sometimes so I had to RMA it (props to Thomann's
customer service: they were great). The second guitar
actually worked as advertised, which gave me a great
quality guitar.
The finish on the guitar body is pretty flawless, the neck

I was very skeptical...

I don't know why I hesitated for so long to get a 7

Satter???
I've certainly struggled with myself for 1.5 - 2 years to try
out a 7 Juicy Guitar. At all our concerts and also in the
rehearsal room I am constantly changing guitars. E-
Tuning Drop D Tuning B. Drop A etc...
Except for a few songs, I now play everything with this
awesome thing.

The playability of the guitar is really very good. After a

short time, you no longer notice the slightly wider neck.
But my biggest concern was the slanted frets (Fanned
Frets/ MultiScale). But after a few minutes you don't even
notice it anymore. In fact, quite the opposite is the case.
The guitar lies fantastically in the hand and plays much
better after a short period of getting used to it, in my
opinion!
Anyway, I'm totally excited. Now play 95% of our set only
with the Ibanez.
One thing has to be mentioned.
The RGD71ALMS is definitely a heavy metal guitar. The
PU have a fairly high output. Even in the clean channel, I
have to turn the gain control down a lot to really get a
clean sound.
Where this part really shines is the distorted sound!
Here you can really rely on the already numerous
reviews and tests of the guitar!

Actually I can only say:

I've never been an Ibanez fanboy, always more into G&L,
PRS and Music Man, but this guitar really is a killer.

I am extremely excited.

Unbeatable price / performance

Since I am finally the owner of the RGD 71 ALMS-BAM, I

would like to leave my first impressions here.

Optics:
The guitar looks a little nicer than in the pictures, the
changing colors also come into their own (depending on
the angle from which you look at it) from green, purple
to matt black.
The paintwork has no defects.
The mechanics and electrics were neatly installed (no
milling errors, etc.).

Weight:
Since I can only draw the reference from my own ranks, I
would say that I can count them to my lighter guitars.
Playability:
It is not top-heavy and sits well when seated. It takes a
bit of getting used to standing up because this is my first
guitar with 7 sides. However, it still sits well in the
harness and longer playing while standing bgzl. I
consider the weight to be comfortable.
The fingerboard is very thin compared to my other
guitars (including PRS, LTG) so that even fast things like
"sweep picking" can be implemented well.
However, it must be mentioned here that the
fingerboard is rough on the back, which I feel is
uncomfortable after long periods of play.

Sound:
The chords are also resolved very well in distortion
mode. The pick-ups on the bridge are a bit too bass-
heavy for me in places (complain on a high level;)).

Conclusion:
I'm (except for one or two little things) very much at
peace with the guitar. Anyone who is considering getting
a 7-sided guitar will not be disappointed here. Clear buy
recommendation.
