Task
The BioBlitz is a chance for you to explore the biodiversity in your own backyards. By doing a
BioBlitz you are able to determine what is living in a particular area at a particular point in time.
This is a chance for you to experience first-hand how real science is put to work.
This plant is
situated at the
front of our
Dracaena neighbor’s
Dragon plant marginata house within
(CABI, 2019) their make shift
plant box. The
D. marginata
thrives in an area
that receives a
good amount of
sunlight. It is
being watered
every now and
then.
The T. Fournieri
is planted into a
pot with loam
soil in our plant
box. This plant
Blue wings or Torenia fournieri is situated in an
Wishbone (Maggie, 2021) area where it
flower receives fair
amount of
sunlight to avoid
destruction of
the leaves. It is
waters regularly
to maintain the
structure of the
plant.
The B. glabra is
planted in a pot.
It is also situated
right at the front
Bougainvillea Bougainvillea of our house and
glabra is being watered
(CABI, 2021) every day. It
thrives in an
environment
where it can
withstand
extreme heat as
it is a heat-
loving plant.

Aglaonema commutatum is
Chinese commutatum planted into a
evergreen (NC STATE pot and is placed
EXTENSION) in an area where
it gets most
sunlight. It is
being watered
once every 7-10
days.
