Why have this event?

● Drunk Elephant plans to use this event as a way to inform


customers about the skincare smoothies.
○ Rather than seeing each product as an individual item, Drunk
Elephant formulates products to be ingredients in an overall
skincare smoothie.
● The social media presence surrounding this event will
also allow for Drunk Elephant socials to receive more
engagement and activity.
○ Currently Drunk Elephant social media pages don’t receive social
media engagement/traffic as high and consistent as
competitors.
● This pop-up event will show the benefits of using Drunk
Elephant smoothies vs. using the products individually.

What is Drunk Elephant’s Smoothie Bar?

Drunk Elephant’s Smoothie Bar is a pop-up event that allows attendees to try
Drunk Elephant’s featured skincare smoothies, while also getting to drink
smoothies from the smoothie bar.

● This will be an event open to the public


○ Attendees will have to reserve a time slot online before the event (for crowd control and
measuring attendance purposes).
○ Each attendee will receive a swag bag with collateral material and Drunk Elephant mini
products
● The event will take place on June 21, 2023 from 1:00-5:00pm, at a rooftop
sundeck in Midtown, Manhattan.
○ 357 E 57th Street New York, NY 10022
○ June 21st is National Smoothie Day
● There will be two types of Smoothie Bars at the event – one for skincare
smoothies and another for actual drinkable smoothies.
● Skincare Smoothie Bar
● People attending the event will be able to “order a
smoothie” and watch their skincare smoothie be created
in front of them.
○ These “smoothies” will be in a jar the size of drunk elephant’s midi
sized products.
○ Every drinkable smoothie comes with a skincare smoothie of the
customer’s choice.

At the event there will also be a wall of different Drunk


Elephant products all divided by the smoothies they can be
used to create.

● Ex: The three products used to create the Good to Glow


smoothie would all be on their own labeled shelf, and the
same goes for the other featured smoothies
● The products in this area will be full sized products
available to purchase.

Promotion - Social Media

● Drunk Elephant social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok)
will post content leading up to the event.
○ The social media posts will consist of: a pop-up announcement, pop-up teaser, what’s a
drunk elephant smoothie?, featured smoothies, how to reserve a time slot to attend the
smoothie bar, etc.
○ Counting down to the event there will be weekly posts.
● In order to gain more attention to the event, well known influencers on
TikTok will be posting their own favorite Drunk Elephant products and
smoothies using the hashtag and encouraging their followers to do the
same (#drunkelephantsmoothieday)
● Every post on Drunk Elephant socials, regarding the event, will also
include the hashtag.

These influencers will be posting their own Tik Toks (2) highlighting their
favorite Drunk Elephant products and how they like to mix them, as well as
including the link to reserve a time slot for the event.

● They will also be invited to the event, and if they’re coming to the event they would also
create a TikTok from the event with the same hashtag.
● The Tik Toks made will be reposted to Drunk Elephant’s Tik Tok and Instagram page.

*Each influencer will be asked to post two Tik Toks supporting the #drunkelephantsmoothieday highlighting their
favorite drunk elephant products. In addition to this if they are able to attend the event they will be asked to make a
Tik Tok at the actual event. The budget above is the highest it can be, however it may be lower if an influencer
cannot attend the event.

● Late April: Draft social media posts for @DrunkElephant Instagram

○ Posts consisting of: “What’s a drunk elephant smoothie?”, “Featured Smoothies”,

● Late April: Reach out to Influencers and discuss posts for the event.
● April 20: Rooftop location is booked and finalized.
● April 28: Campaign goes live to the public.
