As a Welding Trainer Supervisor at Caterpillar, you will have an opportunity to handle,

• Good proficiency in English.

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree, preferably in Welding Engineering.
• Certified Welding Inspector minimum level 2 (Visual Inspection) or equivalent.
• Good knowledge about welding technology: Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), machine &
feeder, weld tractor, SAW (Submerged Arc Welding) and other technologies.
• Good knowledge about WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and welding defects.
• Good knowledge VT (Visual Test), UT (Ultrasonic Test), MT (Magnetic Test), PT (Penetrant
Test), Fracture Test & Macroetch Inspection.
• Ability to teach and train welder/fitters with progressively responsible job-related experience.

• Computer literate and good document control management (certifications, people
management, trainings, welding material budgets).
• Understands the fundamentals of welding metallurgy, quality systems, external welding
specifications, engineering standards and specifications, manufacturing practices and
specifications, robotics, process modelling, testing processes and procedures, and project
management.
