Agenda

Objectives
• To share NCRA knowledge, experience and lessons learned across the
community of African Commonwealth countries;
• To create a collaborative community of countries; with the shared aim of
improving national cybersecurity capabilities in each country.
• To facilitate/gain agreement for NCRA ‘mentoring’ relationships between
countries
• To provide training and practical advice to assist those countries that have not
yet completed a NCRA
• To demonstrate and share the tools and techniques that can be used to run
national level cyber security incident simulation exercises.
• To gain insights into the potential decision making processes and trade-offs that
are required when responding to a national level cyber incident affecting CNI
(through a simulation exercise).
• To provide guidance and practical advice on turning risk assessment findings
into achievable risk mitigation action plans and cybersecurity capacity building
initiatives.
